Classes Temporarily Suspended Due To School Closure
Cody Waters serves as the coordinator/ instructor of the Floyd County Sheriff's Office's Turning Point Program. Corporal Waters was born and raised in Floyd County and despite many opportunities presented to him, he has chosen to be a productive member of this community, giving back whenever possible . He attended Coosa High School, graduating in 2015, and subsequently entered into the Law Enforcement Field.
Corporal Waters has vast experience , as he has worked at both Hays State Prison and Floyd County Animal Control. In 2018, Corporal Waters joined the Floyd County Sheriff's Office, serving in the Jail Division as a detention officer. In June of 2019 Corporal Waters successfully completed the Basic Law Enforcement Training Course and earned the title of Deputy Sheriff. Shortly thereafter Deputy Waters earned the rank of Senior Deputy Sheriff, and in March of 2020 was promoted to Corporal.
Corporal Waters brings both experience, dedication and a servants heart to this position. These attributes will serve both your children and our community well, as he will afford your child/children the information where they can have a turning point and know that they are headed in the right direction.
